I was born and raised in Northport, NY, a small town on the North Shore of Long Island. I came to Virginia Beach to attend Virginia Wesleyan University in 1989, graduated and stayed. I moved to Chesapeake in 1993 and this has been my home ever since. I have a passion for Coastal Virginia! My previous life was sales, marketing and customer service in the the automobile industry for 15 years and am currently the Executive Director for the Chesapeake Jubilee. A non profit event that is 37 years old! I have a 12 year old son, Jacob, that keeps me on my toes and very busy. I am passionate about volunteering my time and giving back to our community and I am past president of Kiwanis Club of Chesapeake, an organization that gives back to local children’s charities.
